Cecilia’s work explores the contrast between movement and stillness, using clean, minimal compositions to capture organic motion in a quiet, intentional way. With a strong focus on composition, balance and color, her images feel restrained yet rhythmic, always holding a subtle sense of flow.
Her references span across disciplines: the choreography of Pina Bausch, the work of Gabriel Orozco, the paintings of Hammershøi, Ravel’s Bolero, the movement of Sylvie Guillem, and the ceramics of Lucie Rie. A Taurus, she brings a grounded, tactile sensibility to her practice. In her free time, she works with pottery.
