Luis is a set designer based in Madrid, working across fashion, editorial, advertising and entertainment.
His work starts with materials and everyday objects. He’s drawn to fabric shops, hardware stores, bazaars and antique dealers, where unexpected textures, colours and objects often become the starting point for an idea.
Influenced by film, fashion, photography and pop culture, he’s particularly interested in visual worlds with a strong identity of their own: a considered use of colour, attention to detail and the ability to transport you somewhere else.
